A MESSAGE FROM OUR SCA CO-PRESIDENTS

Dear Glenwood Landing Families,

Happy May! We hope you're all doing well during this busy time of year. We have some important updates and reminders to share with you.

Our next SCA Member meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 9am beginning with a very special ribbon cutting ceremony in the outdoor classroom to celebrate our new greenhouse. A very important SCA member meeting will immediately follow in the auditorium with Superintendent, Dr. Chris Zublionis, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Dr. Carol Ann Smyth, and Assistant Superintendent for Business, Mr. James Pappas to discuss the school budget. It will be our last SCA member meeting this school year where we will also say goodbye to our outgoing board members and welcome the new 2024-2025 SCA board members. Please join us!

On Friday, May 10th, the SCA will host our annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Monetary donations at this time are appreciated, as well as any desserts or beverages that you would like to provide to make this event amazing for our teachers! See below for more information.

Invitations have been sent and we feel the Miami heat coming on! The annual GWL SCA Parents' Night Out "Meet Me in Miami" fundraising event will be held on Thursday, May 16th at 6:30pm at The Sea Cliff Yacht Club. Please RSVP and view sponsorships below. It's going to be a good one!

Lastly, please make sure to go out and cast your vote for the North Shore 2024-2025 school budget at the high school on Tuesday,May 21st!

The Glenwood Landing SCA will be hosting a night to remember for our annual Parents' Night Out, "MEET ME IN MIAMI." Our annual fundraiser will take place at The Sea Cliff Yacht Club on Thursday, May 16th from 6:30-10:30PM.

$100pp ($110pp at the door)

$75 for GWL Teachers and Staff

Each ticket includes food, open bar, music and 5 tickets towards grade level basket raffles!

There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

All proceeds from the event directly benefit the children by way of SCA’s programs and events. The SCA is an organization of parents, guardians, faculty and staff working together to enrich the school experience of our students through various educational projects, enrichment programs and support of local families in need.
